Teacher Appreciation Week

This week was Teacher Appreciation Week. The goal is simple: remind teachers that society notices the heroic amount of work they do while surviving glitter explosions, recorder concerts, and emails sent at 11:52 PM. The article in the comments shows easy ways to support teachers that matter. Teachers quietly shape almost every success story on Earth. Scientists, nurses, firefighters, programmers, hockey goalies, and even suspiciously handsome French Bulldog news anchors all started with somebody patient enough to say, “Let’s try that again.” Be clear on one thing though. Dogs DO NOT eat homework!
Dog in a backpack adoption hack
www.reddit.com
A New Yorker named Bryan Reisberg has been helping shelter dogs get adopted in one of the most wonderfully weird ways imaginable: carrying them around NYC in a giant backpack. He takes rescue dogs on subway rides, park adventures, and walks through busy streets while filming their personalities for social media. The dogs get attention, people stop to ask questions, and many of the pups end up finding homes. According to reporting from *The Washington Post* and *People*, Reisberg’s videos have helped drive major adoption interest, with many featured dogs quickly getting adopted after their backpack adventures. Honestly, who’s day wouldn’t be better seeing a bulldog riding the subway in a backpack! Whether its underpaid teachers helping shape young minds or humans helping dogs live their best life one backpack at a time, take time to smell the roses (and everything else for that matter) Until next time, remember to notice the little good things that go hidden a, like me, TRY to be a good boy WOOF!
